Ing. Antonio Di Biase

Graduated in Electrical Engineering at the University of Bari. After obtaining the qualification to the profession of engineer, he focused on environmental engineering and on waste treatment plants and urban hygiene services. He has participated in the Technical Committee Landfills, contributing to the definition of the new regulations for the construction and management of sanitary landfills. He designed landfills for municipal and special non-hazardous waste, as well as other treatment plants -TMB, composting after anaerobic digestion and materials recovery - for some of which he was responsible of. He has held the position of General Manager and Chairman of the Board of Directors for several major Environmental Services Management Companies including AMIU Puglia SpA, ACTA Potenza and AMICA Foggia, developing the entrepreneurial attitude of these companies, especially through the optimization of services and the construction and management of plants. In 2017-2019 held the position of Technical Director of the Regional Agency for Waste Management in the Region of Puglia (Italy). Today he is involved in the private sector, promoting and developing new sustainable treatment technologies, alternatives to conventional ones.
