Ing. Luigi Piarulli
General Director of TEC. Graduated in Mechanical Engineering in 2006 at the Polytechnic of Bari, he has gained almost twenty years of experience in the production sector, holding managerial roles in the Automotive, Oil & Gas and Biomedical sectors. He began as a production technologist in the Maserati plant in Modena, working on the manufacture of luxury sports cars, and then moved to the Bari plant of the Nuovo Pignone (at the time General Electric group) in the production of centrifugal pumps, valves and gas treatment systems for the Oil & Gas sector, covering the roles of Manufacturing Engineer, Manufacturing Productivity Leader, Manufacturing Engineering Leader and Operations Leader. Finally, he moved to the Modugno (BA) headquarters of Masmec, as Project Manager of the automatic lines for the assembly and testing of automotive components, and then moved to the Biomedical division, with the role of Production Director and responsible for Project Management, managing the production of workstations for molecular biology and navigators for interventional surgery.
